DDX Requirements

Hardware is a critical element of successful office automation. Following are recommendations that will help you select hardware. We encourage you to contact us at 1 (800) 565-0923 to discuss system choices and setup.

For the Lab

Recommended
Labnet: Labnet 8.0 Silver Multi-user or above with current Labnet support contract (ASUP)
Computer: DDX Server should be installed on the same computer as the Labnet data file
Internet Connection: High speed Internet service with a static IP address
Network: Router

For the Dental Practice

Recommended
Lab: Established account with a DDX enabled lab
Internet: Internet connection (High speed recommended)
Web Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0+ or Mozilla FireFox 3
